Using flimsy 25-gauge (0.4 mm) studs. Commercial and quality residential partitions require structural 20-gauge or 0.6 mm galvanized steel framing.
Over-driving drywall screws. Screw heads must be countersunk 1/32" (1 mm) below the face paper without piercing the paper liner.
